Wine Tasting

Toll2008 is pleased to offer a special Portuguese wine tasting reception, on September 26th at 19.30 to 21.30. This event has been generously organized and will be hosted by Clare Bryant and Miguel Soares at the beautiful gardens of the Palacio do Marques de Pombal, which is adjacent to the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência.

For wine aficionados, the list of wines to be served at this occasion includes:

  2. “Quinta do Portal Branco 2005”
  3. “2004 Catarina, Bacalhoa Vinhos de Portugal (Fernão Pires & Chardonnay)”
  4. “Muros Antigos Alvarinho 2005, Vinho Verde sub-region Monção”
  5. “2004 Segada; Trincadeira & Castelão, Vinho Regional Ribatejano, DFJ Vinhos”
  6. “Vila Santa 2004, Vinho Regional Alentejano, JP Ramos”
  7. “José da Sousa Mayor 1999, Vinho Regional Alentejano”
  8. “Dão Quinta da Garrida Touriga Nacional 2003, Caves Aliança”

The different wines will be served together with an assortment of Portuguese cheeses and other local delicacies. This should be an occasion to spend a good time, in a beautiful setting, drinking excellent wines and tasting local foods in the premises of the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, which we will be delighted to introduce to those interested.

Please be aware that wine tasting can only accommodate 150 guests. The fee to join the wine tasting event is 10€, which includes transportation from the “Cascais Miragem hotel (meeting venue) to the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência. Buses will depart at 19.00 and will return at 22.00.
